Why Give to Potter Ministries
As a non-profit organization, this means every dollar has to come from donors. We rely on our congregations and individual donors along with fundraising activities to keep the Potter legacy growing and thriving.
Giving to Potter Children’s Home and Family Ministries means supporting a history of investing in the long-term success of families and children who may not have other opportunities.

Donation Options:
Potter Children’s Home and Family Ministries understands that our donors come from all manner of backgrounds and situations. A majority of our donations come from congregations and individuals, but we encourage and accept funds or items from whoever is willing to support our organization and our work in Christ’s name.
Hands of Service
Our primary donations service where donors can specify if funds are unrestricted or restricted to certain programs or usage. Hands of Service accepts one-time gifts or regularly scheduled gifts of a chosen amount and interval.
To arrange a recurring donation, please contact us by phone at (270) 843 – 3038
Honor and Memorial Gifts
Within the banner of our Hands of Service, if you would like to donate in honor of someone special or to recognize their memory as our founders, the Potters, did for their late son, we would be happy to send a thoughtful letter in the name of the person you choose.
Estate Giving
Charitable contributions earn tax benefits and reduce tax burdens for yourself or even your family at the managing of your estate.
Our external service can help plan gifts or bequests.
Commodities
Money is not the only way to implement change, our resale shop Tuesday’s Treasure relies on donated consignment style and homegoods items.
We also accept non-perishable food and other household items, such as cleaning supplies, to keep the pantry and broom closets stocked for our residents.

What Giving Means
When Clinton and Mary Potter endowed the land and property to the Potter Children’s Home and Family Ministries, it was on the restricted conditions that the area or any funds derived from it went back into the stated goal to provide homes and hope for children and now our single parent families. We are honored to follow their dream and to care for so many residents; however, it is both an enormous emotional and financial task. A healthy and continued endowment fund is crucial to keep our doors open and our homes full of heart.
