Serving children for more than 100 years.

Faith Based and Trauma-Informed

Potter Children’s Home and Family Ministries serves the most vulnerable in our community through our private Foster Care Ministry and our Single Parent Ministry. Through these programs and our efforts in the community we seek to be a light to the world around us. We are faith-based in that our ultimate purpose is to share the love of God to a broken world. We are trauma-informed, meaning that we view problem behaviors as a persons’ best attempt to cope based on their own negative experiences. Because these are learned behaviors, we function as coaches to help them learn more effective coping skills.
