On Campus Houseparents (need two couples)
- Potter Children’s Home employs both the husband and the wife
- The Couple provides 24-hour supervision of boys or girls – mostly teens.
- This couple must have a willingness to serve to young people who have experienced significant trauma
- Couple is Required to live on campus.
- Part of salary package includes tax free income of apartment, utilities, food as well as most of gas for transportation.
- Yearly vacation opportunities and routine support from several experienced staff
Single Parent Worker
- Work with and encourage single parents in achieving their treatment goals included but not limited to financial, parental, emotional and spiritual goals.
- Providing support to residents that includes giving rides, baby-sitting, apartment inspection, filling grocery requests, and other needs as they arise for each individual resident
- Yearly vacation opportunities and routine support from several experienced staff
Associate Minister of Annual Giving
- The Associate Minister of Annual Giving serves as a liason of the home to church donors and support by maintaining relationships with contacts at various churches who support the home
- Works to establish new relationships and build new supporters for the continued work of the Home
- Speaks at various congregations about Potter updating donors with current information about the Home while also picking up change cans for the commodity drives and pantry items from donors
- Routine travel for various established routes to connect with donor congregations
- Periodically provide assistance in our on-campus Resale Shop
- Work with the Office of Christian Stewardship staff to help plan an organize the Annual Fall Festival
- Yearly vacation opportunities and routine support from several experienced staff
Maintenance Worker
- Ability to do basic maintenance work
- Ability to follow instructions of Maintenance Supervisor
